200+ Granville Events this Year & Counting!
Your weekly update for the upcoming Granville Center for the Arts events!
Dear Super Awesome Arts Lover!
Wow. Just wow. This year has been nothing short of extraordinary. At the Granville Center for the Arts, we set out to create something truly special for our community—and together, we made magic happen.
From monthly concerts that lit up the stage to creative workshops like designing shoe art (where each student received a pair of Brooks running shoes!), we poured our hearts into making every moment unforgettable. We shared a Thanksgiving meal with the community, danced through salsa and Indian lessons, and introduced our First Annual Santa Dance Competition (and yes, it was as fun as it sounds!). This year, we also launched the Granville Theatre Company and hosted eight regular art clubs—including Painting & Drawing, Fiber Arts, and Creative Writing—all completely free, with every supply and material provided, ensuring that anyone who wanted to participate could join in and learn together.
Our gallery shone brightly, featuring breathtaking work from talented artists across Ohio, pieces from the Granville school district, and a profoundly moving exhibit by young artists with autism. Beyond the center's walls, we brought beauty to our town by painting two murals, showcasing sculptures downtown, and helping raise thousands of dollars for Mental Health America.
Through it all, we proved that you don't need a big budget to make a big difference. As one of the smallest independent nonprofits run entirely by volunteers, we're on a mission to make the arts accessible to everyone, no matter their financial situation or background.
As you savor the joy of this holiday season, we invite you to join us in building an even brighter 2025. Your tax-deductible donation—no matter the size—helps guarantee another 200+ amazing events next year for you, your family, and our community to enjoy.
Happy Holidays,
Ryan McGuire
