GCFA Events: Art Clubs, Jazz, Books & Bikes!!!
Your weekly update for the upcoming Granville Center for the Arts events!
Featured Exhibit: ‘A Chip Off the Old Beck’
The Granville Center for the Arts gallery is open every Sunday from 1 to 3:00 pm. Our current gallery exhibit, 'A Chip Off the Old Beck,' a father/son show, combines Dillon's 2D paintings, Martin's 3D sculptures, and a special collaborative piece that encapsulates the essence of their relationship and distinct approaches to art.
They both had a similar journey in making art - they started as designers, worked with clients, and then decided that they wanted to make their own creative brief and go wild with it. Dillon has several new paintings exploring the idea of structure, both as a physical object and as a concept that family provides. Martin's sculptures are strong, bright, and whimsical, reflecting his personality.
